Lead the development, coordination, and implementation of the district’s K–12 balanced assessment program to support continuous improvement, rigorous instruction, and student achievement.

Qualifications: 

•  Valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in a relevant educational field.
• Valid Georgia Educator Certificate in Educational Leadership or related experience preferred.  
• Master’s degree or higher from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university preferred.  
• Five (5) or more years of successful experience in teaching and leadership. 
• School-level leadership preferred. 
• Proven ability to work with others in a confidential, cooperative, and service-oriented manner; excellent listening and communication skills.
• Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
• Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
• May be regularly required to stand, sit, crouch, crawl, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Evaluate, develop, and improve the district’s overall assessment program, including grading and reporting procedures, through collaboration with district and school personnel.
• Provide professional learning related to assessment uses, assessment strategies, and data analysis.
• Facilitate the creation, administration, review, and revision of districtwide secondary midterms and finals to strengthen instructional coherence, monitor student mastery of standards, and support continuous improvement efforts across the district. 
• Lead the planning, administration, and analysis of universal screening processes as part of a comprehensive data system supporting district, school, class, and student-level instruction and monitoring.
• Stay abreast of current research, emerging trends, and best practices to evaluate district programs and recommend improvements that enhance student achievement and instructional effectiveness.
• Serve as a collaborative support partner to schools in the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous refinement of school improvement plans aligned with district priorities, student achievement goals, and continuous improvement practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, policies, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
