Work with the evaluation team to plan, administer, score and interpret appropriate assessment measures. Work closely with stakeholders to support and communicate district goals and changes in local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations. 

Certifications, Licenses or Permits: 

• Valid professional Georgia Educator certificate in a Special Education field. 

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a Special Education Field or related field; Master’s degree or higher preferred. 
• Previous diagnostic experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work with others in a confidential, cooperative, and service-oriented manner; excellent listening and communication skills.
• Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
• Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
• May be regularly required to stand, sit, crouch, crawl, push/pull, and lift up to 50lbs.

• Function as lead evaluator for team evaluations.
• Plan, administer, score, and interpret appropriate assessment measures.
• Coordinate writing of comprehensive eligibility document.
• Provide post-assessment information to parents and school staff.
• Participate in the IEP process for students.
• Plan and/or participate in professional development opportunities.
• Implement and/or assist teachers and other school personnel in the design and implementation of educational and behavioral interventions for students.
• Assist in maintaining accurate case records on all students in accordance with the requirements of local, state, and federal laws, regulations and/or policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
